URGENSI BIMBINGAN ORANG TUA DALAM MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK PADA KELUARGA PETANI (STUDI PADA DUA MI DI DESA BAGIK PAYUNG)
Abstrak
Penelitian ini mengkaji urgensi bimbingan orang tua dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik pada keluarga petani, khususnya pada dua Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) di Desa Bagik Payung. Keluarga petani sering menghadapi tantangan ekonomi dan pendidikan yang mempengaruhi motivasi belajar anak-anak mereka. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi peran bimbingan orang tua dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik di lingkungan keluarga petani. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data melibatkan wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bimbingan orang tua memiliki peran signifikan dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik. Orang tua yang aktif membimbing anak-anak mereka, meskipun dengan keterbatasan sumber daya, mampu mendorong anak-anak untuk berprestasi lebih baik di sekolah. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya peran orang tua dalam pendidikan anak-anak, terutama di kalangan keluarga petani. Implikasi penelitian ini mencakup rekomendasi bagi sekolah dan pemerintah untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan orang tua dalam pendidikan guna mendukung motivasi belajar peserta didik.
