PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN COOPERATIVE INTEGRATED READING AND COMPOSITION TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPS KELAS IV SDN 107437 TANJUNG BAMPU
Abstract
Based on observations, it is known that teachers in learning use varied lecture learning models. Document data on social studies learning outcomes in both classes are still below the KKM (70). To determine the effect of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition learning model on social studies learning activities of class IV SDN 102737 Tanjung Bampu. The type of experimental research used is Quasi-Experimental Research with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample was 93 students of class IV-A and class IV-B. The technique of collecting learning outcome data used multiple choice tests and student activities using a questionnaire on student activity observation sheets. The results of the study The mean posttest of the experimental class was 73.87, while the mean posttest of the control class was 67. The gain index <g> of the experimental class was 0.41 (moderate) while <g> of the control class was 0.29 (low). The results of the t-test showed that the t-count value (3.184)> t-table (2.020) meant that the CIRC model had an effect on social studies learning outcomes and the Sig. value. (2-tailed) < 0.05, which is 0.002. The results of the simple linear regression test, in the Coefficients table, produced a sig value = 0.000 < 0.05, which means that the CIRC model has a partial positive and significant effect on learning activities and outcomes. While in the Model Summary table, the R Square value = 0.944, so it can be seen that the influence of the CIRC model on learning activities and outcomes is 94.4%. The conclusion of this study is that the CIRC learning model has an effect on the activities and learning outcomes of fourth-grade students of SDN 107437 Tanjung Bampu
